Frequently Asked Questions

How is the weather?

The weather can be very unpredictable in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.  The summer days generally are comfortably warm with slight breezes and afternoon showers. No matter what the weather is, however, when the sun goes down in the mountains, it’s always good to have a coat.

Will I have cell service when I stay at the Ranch?

Yes and No. With in the last few years, wireless service has expanded to reach the Ranch.  Receiving calls, sending calls and texting can work fairly normally, but there is no guarantee that it will work consistently.  If service is necessary, it can be received by driving a little ways down the road or the 15 miles to Creede.

Is Wi-Fi Internet available?

Yes, we provide wireless Internet at the ranch.  The best reception is within vicinity to the office but can be received at most cabins.  There are a few outlying cabins that cannot receive wireless Internet.
